New Chairman of Board at Novelda AS

Nielsen is an accomplished executive within the wireless semiconductor industry, best known for a long and distinguished career at the public company Nordic Semiconductor ASA in various executive roles, where he now serves as its CTO. He has broad experience, which covers general management, business development, sales, marketing, manufacturing and engineering roles.

Novelda AS develops and sells advanced radar sensors used for people detection in consumer electronics and smart buildings. Investinor first invested in the company in 2015 and is the larger owner with a 26% share. We are represented in the Board of Directors by Investment Director Jon Øyvind Eriksen.

• We are very pleased to have Svein-Egil appointed as Chairman of the Board at Novelda. His broad experience from high volume chip sales in Nordic Semiconductor will be extremely valuable for Novelda going forward. The company’s technology is attracting strong interest globally, and Svein-Egil will play an important part towards positioning the technology in the different customer segments, say Eriksen.
