The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) are rooted in global challenges that demand solutions, and the capital market is a key driver in the work towards achieving them. Companies that work actively to develop sustainable solutions to global challenges are thus an integral part of our investment philosophy. This doesn’t mean that we compromise when it comes to maximising earnings on our investments, but we remain at all times aware of the guidelines embedded in our investment strategy. This places more demands on us as investors. We must be able to provide strategic arguments for all our investments, and these in turn shall be grounded in sound sustainability principles.
