Investinor makes a new investment in Motimate AS

Investinor invests NOK 4 million in Motimate for a 5.9% stake in the company. Stayer Invest and Investinor are the main investors in the private placement that was was fully subscribed. Aller Media, Hyper Interactive and Rema 1000 are already shareholders in the company. The funds will fuel Motimate for further growth.

Motimate is a Norwegian SaaS company that delivers digital platforms for training and internal communication in the corporate market. With its mobile and intuitive platforms, the company should make learning and knowledge sharing fun, accessible and easy. The company currently has over 70 Scandinavian brands as customers – with a total of over 50,000 employees. They have customers like DNB, Varner Gruppen, Apotek 1, AF Gruppen, REMA 1000, Finn.no and others. The series entrepreneurs Rolf Risnes and Lars-Petter Windelstad Kjos are the founders behind the company that was established in 2017.

“Motimate already has a unique customer base, competent management, a very good technical solution and solid investor base. We have a long-term strategy and an objective to invest further in the company to assist with international growth,” says Investinor Investment Director, Patrick Sandahl.
